WOR-lifts are the sole UK distributor for Hegenscheidt-MFD light-metal re-railing systems. Hegenscheidt-MFD re-railing systems are reliable, safe and strong for all railway lifting operations and the re-railing of railway vehicles. The compact, light components meet the highest of safety demands, have a long stability, and are easy to handle. The entire system can be operated by one person by means of a control panel without any problem, removing the need for staff to be in the hazardous lifting area. MFD aluminum telescopic jacks are also used for train overhaul and train maintenance, the large stable jack base and telescopic action cylinders make increased lifting heights easily achievable. Hegenscheidt-MFD jacks are now also proving popular in the heavy lifting industry, the remote operation of the high tonnage double acting aluminum jacks and the unique safety hold valve on each cylinder have proved invaluable where controlled hydraulic lifting, controlled hydraulic movement and controlled hydraulic lowering is easily achievable without the need for costly computer controlled PLC software.

We also manufacture special power packs for all applications and duty cycles. Bespoke hydraulic solutions are available on request and usually involve technical site visits and application studies, these applications usually come under the hydraulic workholding banner and common items incorporated are clamping cylinders, block cylinders, swing cylinders & threaded body cylinders.
