Are you a sales manager with a hydraulic equipment background and have ambitions to take on more responsibility and a desire to progress through to managing an entire sales division?
Worlifts Limited, is an established lifting equipment company in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, now in its 45th year of business, and is seeking to employ an experienced Sales and Technical Manager to help further develop its sales of hydraulic equipment and also expand its successful hire division - HydraHire
Worlifts are the largest distributor in the UK of Enerpac Hydraulic Tools and established distributors of many other leading lifting equipment brands.
The successful Candidate will be based at our headquarters in Bromsgrove, B61 0QU.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Offer technical support to the Sales and Hire Team
Develop new and existing business.
Develop relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
Visit potential or existing customers if required to offer technical and application advice.
Manage key customer accounts.
Develop relationships with key suppliers.
Set quarterly targets and submit to management for approval.
Assist with marketing activities to promote the awareness of the product range and ensure that all literature meets current legislative requirements.
Organise sales and marketing meetings.
Submit sales reports to management as and when required
Qualifications & Experience
LEEA Accreditations preferred.
At least 5 years’ experience in a sales role and in a related industry
Technical sales experience across a range of hydraulic and mechanical lifting is essential.
Results driven and able to demonstrate success in achieving and exceeding targets.
Demonstrable experience in developing and growing new business
Driving sales opportunities with the sales and hire team.
Good presentation skills
Competency to represent the company in written and verbal format
Ability to manage business relationships at all levels.
Customer interfacing experience is essential.

You will be joining an established company who supply hydraulic & lifting equipment to various industries throughout the UK. They are now seeking a motivated and ambitious workshop supervisor who can take on the challenge of running a fast paced workshop, who can be hands on, and provide strong leadership.
An excellent opportunity is on offer for an ambitious Workshop Supervisor to join an established hydraulic and lifting equipment company.
Now in our 46th year of business, we are continually looking to grow our workshops and service operations having already built a very strong client base.
Overview of Role:
In this role you will lead a team of LEEA certified competent engineers and you will be responsible for ensuring that a high standard of service is delivered. Reporting directly to the Service & Hire Manager, the Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a small team of fitters. This role will require a hands-on approach offering full support to other members of the team and promoting health and safety at all times.
Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 + 1 Saturday in 6 (6 hours)
The ideal candidate will have proven technical and operational experience in the lifting equipment industry and be competent in the inspection of hydraulic and lifting equipment in accordance with LOLER and PUWER..
• Working in conjunction with the service manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the workshop and will play a pivotal part in driving growth of service & hire.
• You will manage a skilful team of engineers and oversee their training and development to maintain competence.
• Assist with any maintenance or repairs on a range hydraulic & lifting equipment.
• You will give technical support to the engineers and the service department.
• You will be required to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines working in conjunction with
the service manager.
• You will be required to give hands on support as and when necessary.
• Liaising with the HSQE Manager, you will ensure all safe systems of work are employed for the service engineers and that high standards of health and safety in the workplace are maintained.
• You must have good communication skills
• You will be responsible for quality control and ensure all repair work procedures have been followed before despatch.
