We are an established lifting equipment company located in the heart of the Midlands looking to continue with our expansion of our site services division. An On-Site Test Engineer is now required to join our site- services team.

We require an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who ideally has a sound knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical lifting equipment and has good communication skills to liaise with customers on-site. The role of On-Site Test Engineer offers a great deal of diversity working for a continually expanding established business.

As a company who invests in their employees, this is an opportunity to join a company who will train you both in house and externally before you then go out and take a more autonomous role at customer sites.

This role will involve the On-Site inspection LOLER & PUWER, proof load testing, service and on site minor repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and powered equipment utilising a fully equipped inspection vehicle.

You will be travelling throughout the UK and have a full UK driving license.

This role will require you to stay away from home as and when required but quite a lot of time will be spent on day visits or working at our premises in Bromsgrove.

An excellent remuneration package is on offer, depending on experience, for a suitably capable and ambitious individual who is looking to progress in an expanding company.

  • Taking hire enquiries & offering solutions.
  • Raising written quotations.
  • Liaising with the workshop Foreman
  • Processing orders and organising transport
  • Producing & sending customer invoices 
  • Resolving customer queries / complaints
  • Offering new ideas to the hire division to develop new business

Warehouse Operative

Salary:  £ 19,000 - £ 20,000

Location: Bromsgrove

42.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday 8.00 am - 5.00 pm

The Role:

Primarily, the role will involve general warehousing duties.


  • Goods inwards, receiving deliveries and returned products, associated paperwork
  • Dispatching goods using computer software to process customers purchase orders to produce  delivery paperwork, picking lists etc.
  • Picking and packing the orders and then creating parcel labels or booking in pallets with couriers
  • Stock taking and stock monitoring
  • Some light lifting duties
  • General housekeeping duties in and around the factory and driveway
  • Making sure warehouse and yard is clean and tidy, bins emptied, swept up etc
  • Fork lift truck driving (not critical)
  • Occasional van deliveries as and when required.


  • Previous experience in a Warehouse/Goods In/Out environment
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Fork Lift Truck experience beneficial
  • High attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently & use initiative
  • Valid driving licence
