HSQE Advisor/Manager

A vacancy has arisen for a part-time, HSQE Advisor/Manager.

The overall purpose is to provide HSQE support on quality systems 9001,14001, 18001 to our growing diverse business.

The main duties and responsibilities include:

Promote Health & Safety at all times to both Internaland external customers
Seek out opportunities for improvement whilst maintaining service levels
Maintain and develop HSQE measures with a view to exceeding customer expectation
Fully understand Worlifts and the customers HSQE programme including accident and near miss reporting,safety audits, attend regular safety meetings and report back to the senior management and directors  
Ensure regular timely HSQE updates are provided to the business on HSQE performance using appropriate tracking and day systems
Conduct internal audits, set up schedules, create audit reports and action plans
Carry out reviews/updates/implementations of procedures, policies/process
Support and maintain documents and procedures within the business manuals
Support our onsite division in the maintenance of suitable and sufficient risk assessments and safe working methods – create action plans/reports follow up on these
Assisting the business with the provision of in-house, Tool box talks, Manual Handling and Risk Assessments


The successful candidate will have a sound working knowledge HSQE Legislation.

Experience of Health and Safety processes and guidelines (safety, systems support, reporting).

The ideal candidate will have strong and effective verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Excellent organisational, IT and planning skills are a must.

The Role:

Managing the site services workshop and all associated processes

Liaising with customers and managing existing contracts.

Liaising with on-site engineers

Organising diaries and prioritising workloads with administration team.

Producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements for a range of on-site work activities.

Producing quotations for customer’s incoming repairs.

Producing quotations for new on site work.


Required skills:

Excellent communication skills.

Mechanical /hydraulic engineering background within the lifting industry

ON-Site Inspection & Testing Engineer, LOLER Engineer (Site Service Team)

A position for a ON-Site Inspection Engineer, ON-Site Testing Engineer exists at our Depot in Bromsgrove.

This role will involve the ON-Site inspection to standards such as LOLER & PUWER, proof load testing of various fabrications and structures, service and on site minor repair of mechanical and powered equipment.

 You will be working within a small team of site services engineers based at our location in Bromsgrove but as and when the need arises you will be required to travel and stay away from home. Applicants must have proven experience from within the lifting or plant sector.
